Oh, hang in there, Erin. I bet the breastfeeding issues are mainly because he was born so early. Rachel had the same problems and if you recall, I did a lot of crying in those early weeks, but it DOES get better. It really does. And as pro-breastfeeding as I am, I want you to be sure not to feel like a failure if you still don’t have it down in a month or two. Formula is not the end of the world. He will survive and he will thrive. Also remember that 12 weeks is the magic number. At 12 weeks he will be eating like a champ and sleeping through the night. You both can do this!! Thanks for the blog updates. Oh, and I am thrilled to see that you are using Dr. Coffman. We love him. LOVE him!

I’ll tell you what we have learned this week, that just b/c you have a 2 year old doesn’t mean the waking up in the middle of the night is over. Cam woke up crying twice last night and once the night before. I thought those days were over (with him). We think he has a molar coming in that is causing him problems.

Cameron was really jaundice and we had to do the therapy at our house. It was pretty bad b/c someone had to stay up with him 24 hours a day (for 3 days) to make sure he didn’t pull his glasses off and was under the light.

Breastfeeding was difficult at first, but after about a week we had it down.

Wow! What a perfect picture of his little face! We will be checking often to see your updates. We are so excited for you and will be praying on Thursday! Remember, Rachel came at 36 weeks and she was tiny but perfect. Your little guy will be, too. We are SO EXCITED!!

Oh my word!!! This is so exciting! Enjoy your last week together — go our for dinner and to lots of movies this week, because it’s going to be a while (like 12 years) before you can just pick up and do that again! :-) We’ll be praying for you guys!

He looks so sweet already! You may not feel like it
but y’all are so blessed to get to have so many ultrasounds
what a treat to check in on your little guy so often :)
